Stop Blaming Yourself and Start Understanding Your Brain—An Online Course

Is Change Hard for You?
If you struggle to stick with your goals, you’re not alone. Most people think they lack willpower and motivation, when it has much more to do with societal pressures and changes in the brain.
You’re Not Alone
I know because I’ve been there. I’ve felt the disappointment of knowing what I want and thinking I had a good plan, only to fall short. Each time I “failed,” my confidence took a hit. Then I learned I wasn’t alone and I wasn’t to blame.
the pressures we face

We are constantly bombarded with messages about who we “should” be. We hear them so often that we start to believe they are factual and when we fail that there is something wrong with us.

Who we were meant to be gets lost in who we are told we should be. Just as a daffodil is not meant to be a tulip, we are not meant to someone we are not.
We blame ourselves for lacking willpower, when the goals we strive for are often unreasonable.
we need our whole brain
Lacking motivation or willpower can feel so personal. We hear messages about being “strong” which can leave us believing we must be weak. I feel sad for all of that time I spent beating up on my self—which little did I know, was making things worse.
Luckily, I learned about brain states and what changes in my brain state mean for my capabilities. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to share this knowledge with as many women* as I can. We already spend too much time feeling not good enough. Let’s not expect ourselves to do something which just isn’t possible without our whole brain online!
A Way Out
I’d love to share with you what I have learned about motivation and willpower. In this online self-paced course, you will learn how:

- the state of your brain ultimately determines both motivation and willpower— and it’s the same for all of us.
- to keep your brain ready for growth and change through your knowledge of brain states and goals that align with who you are and were meant to be.
- mindset impacts outcome and our beliefs determine what we see.
- to use imagery to set goals inline with your greater purpose—supporting who you are, not who you are told you should be.
Ready for a New Approach?
This course won’t guarantee success with your goals, and it will give you the best chance of breaking free from the confidence-draining belief that lacking motivation and willpower represent personal deficiencies.
Learning—in an easy-to-understand way—about brain states, about the impact of setting unreasonable goals, as well as the deception our beliefs create in how we view ourselves, can help you move out of the vicious cycle of setting goals only to end up feeling like a failure.
Learn at your own pace
The course consists of three video modules broken into smaller parts to accommodate busy lives. Each module also includes:

- downloadable audio versions so you can listen as you go.
- transcripts for those who prefer to read.
- prompts to help you apply the material to your own life.
- visualization exercises to help you create the future you want for yourself.
- guided meditations to support your journey.
